Un piccolo gesto per noi, la grande felicità di altri.

Il posto dove nasci non lo scegli, capita. Il modo in cui decidi di vivere è quello che scegli e quello che identifica la persona che sei. Questa frase è importantissima, ma prima di considerarla, va eliminata dalla nostra mente ogni volontà o infezione d’ipocrisia. Nessuno, infatti, vuole colpevolizzare l’ambiente in cui è cresciuto o il “benessere” da cui è avvolto ma quella che deve essere necessariamente perfezionata è la consapevolezza: il riconoscere il valore reale delle cose materiali di cui usufruiamo. Un pallone, un paio di scarpe o una maglia sportiva nel nostro paese sono associate ad un regalo, ad una necessità scontata da ottenere, ad un vezzo stilistico. In altre parti del mondo le stesse cose rappresentano un lavoro durissimo e schiavizzante, un sogno inarrivabile da avere perché beni di più immediata necessità sono mancanti. Quanta differenza, eppure nella maggior parte del tempo non ci pensiamo, trattando quegli oggetti senza cura e riguardo. Possiamo noi cambiare il mondo così come lo abbiamo trovato? Probabilmente no, ma possiamo cambiare il nostro modo di pensare e di agire, nell’attesa che si scateni “l’effetto domino” che sì, potrà modificare le cose. All’Ardor Busto lo sappiamo bene e uno degli insegnamenti che cerchiamo di trasmettere è proprio quello di tenere le proprie dotazioni personali con cura, perché basta davvero solo un minimo di attenzione e quello che per un atleta diventa non più indossabile, per qualcun altro può diventare un grandissimo dono. Per la nostra Società queste non sono mai state solo parole, infatti, da tanto tempo, il vecchio locale magazzino era colmo di divise e scarpe seminuove pronte per chi si trovava in difficoltà. L’aumento continuo dei ragazzi ha, però, reso necessario eliminare il magazzino per rendere più efficaci gli spazi a disposizione per altri utilizzi. Il materiale presente in quel luogo, che rappresentava un pezzo di storia dell’Ardor, era davvero un peccato mandarlo al macero. Le idee hanno cominciato a sbocciare e le voci a passare di bocca in bocca, fino a che la mamma di un giocatore non ha avanzato una proposta subito accolta con grandissimo entusiasmo e riconoscenza da parte di tutto il Consiglio Direttivo. Quando sono giunte le prime foto di ragazzi lontanissimi dalla nostra realtà che indossavano le divise dell’Ardor, davvero ci si è riempito il cuore di gioia; ma è nel vedere quei sorrisi sinceri di felicità per aver ricevuto qualcosa d’insperato, che noi Ardorini capiamo di aver segnato un gol importantissimo. Per svelare i dettagli del paese destinatario delle nostre divise riportiamo le parole di Ruth, la mamma che ha lanciato l’idea e ha fatto si che riuscissimo a compiere questo gesto. Anche questa è l’Ardor Busto, forse quella più bella.

Quando l’anno scorso a fine stagione la società ha comunicato la decisione di cambiare tutte le divise dei giocatori, ho subito pensato alle montagne di magliette e pantaloncini che sarebbero finiti nei cassonetti o in qualche angolo delle cantine. Così ho proposto a Francesca, dirigente della squadra di mio figlio Alejandro e vicepresidente dell’Ardor, di organizzare una raccolta di divise delle “vecchie edizioni” per spedirle a qualche associazione in un paese del terzo mondo. Mi è venuta in mente l’Africa, un po’ perché è un continente col quale ho un legame profondo, un po’ perché mi sono passate davanti agli occhi le immagini di decine di bambini che giocano scalzi e seminudi con palloni di stracci e la serietà dei campioni.

E allora, grazie a mia mamma che si occupa anche di cooperazione, è stata individuata una piccola realtà fuori da tutti i circuiti di aiuti internazionali: una scuola coranica (perché la generosità non conosce religione, ndr), nella città di Louga in Senegal, dove vivono e studiano bambini dai 5 ai 13 anni.

Una volta selezionato il materiale, gli scatoloni sono stati spediti e, qualche giorno fa, la notizia dell’arrivo a destinazione con una lettera di ringraziamenti e le immagini dei bambini che indossano le nostre maglie (che ai più piccoli fanno da vestito!!) e un reportage fotografico della prima partita giocata con le maglie dell’Ardor.

La speranza è che questa iniziativa non rimanga isolata, ma che, con la collaborazione di tutte le famiglie dei giocatori, si riesca ad organizzare in futuro altre spedizioni in altri luoghi del mondo.
